Ways to keep your wardrobe up to date.
So you like fashion, maybe a little bit more than your sister, or your friends - and if you're like me then you're always looking at the latest trends, reading the magazines, and stalking your inspirations on Instagram. But sometimes, keeping up with your passion can end up costing you quite a bit of money so here’s how to maintain this kind of lifestyle.
Your personal style.
Firstly you need to think about what kind of things you actually spend your money on. Do you shop with the most expensive brands, or do you shop on your local high streets? Whatever you choose is your own personal preference and you know what you can and can't afford. Having said that, if you're the type of person to buy new shoes every week, things can get expensive. You may find that online personal loans for fair credit may be a good option for you if you're struggling with money and need to take out a loan so you can pay your way, although i wouldn't advise it. One thing to remember is that if you settle for certain items that are on the affordable side - you can buy more!
Review your wardrobe.
It's very easy to buy and buy and keep filling up your wardrobe and drawers, regardless of how much use you end up getting out of them but It's a good idea to sort things out and visualise the bigger picture. What colours do you tend to buy more of? Should you introduce more colours to your wardrobe? Do you need to get some ankle boots for the coming Spring season? And do you really need that many denim jackets? After you've gone over everything, you can think about rearranging your items so you can find things a lot easier.
Sell, swap, revamp, or recycle.
If you have a lot of things that you know you won't wear anymore, then why keep hold of them when you can do so much more? You may've noticed that a few months ago i began selling various items of mine, either unworn or only worn once or twice! If the items are still in good condition, you should consider selling them. You can do this on sites like eBay, Depop, through your social media account or maybe you could swap. If you still have no luck though, put your things into a bag and give them to charity - don't just put them in the bin!! But if you're feeling creative, rather than getting rid of your items, why not cut, sow and tie them to create a whole new look.
Shop online for deals.
Shopping online is a brilliant way to sieve through all different styles to find exactly what you want. No matter how specific you are, you are guaranteed to find it online - all you have to do is tap what you want into the search engine of your choice! Another benefit to shopping this way is there are plenty of deals on offer. Whether it be free delivery, 20% off, or even buy one get one free. As long as you know your size, there's no reason this won't work for you. In fact, most online shops offer free returns anyway, so even if you need to send it back for another size, or just don't like how it looks, you can send it back without having to pay a penny.
