Natural beauty is NOT overrated.
When you think of beauty, contouring, highlighting and different types of makeup trends might come to mind or perhaps those colourful hair extensions you’ve been keeping an eye on or maybe the tight shape-wear and corsets and that hide everything unpleasant! When you take a step back all of the above is all about covering up what you really look like. It’s not showing who you are and if you live by all of the above then you could be losing some of your natural beauty and wheres the sense in that?
There are ways to show off what’s great about your body and accentuate your best features, here are three simple ways that will help.
1: Change Your Diet.
You are what you eat! Your diet affects everything about your body from the brightness of your skin to the bags under your eyes. It can make your curves look perfect or ensure you don't have sagging flabs. That’s why you should be careful about what you eat, and there are a few foods that will naturally improve the way you look.
Lets start with celery, by eating celery, you actually burn off calories and this might be due to the effort it takes to eat such a sour vegetable lol however that’s not the only benefit of this not so sweet food. It also reduces the fluids which build up underneath your skin which means that those bags under your eyes could disappear in just a few weeks.
Water, flushes out toxins and will help clear your skin of spots and blemishes. Other changes to your diet will have similar effects, just search for ways on google. (Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source!)
2: Use Natural Treatments.
You can also use natural treatments to improve the look and feel of your face and body. If you’re unhappy with the way your bum looks, you might want to try something like Glutimax. Glutimax is made up of natural nutrients and vitamins. It is said that when applied to your bum the chemicals encourage cell development ensuring that your bum is round, firm for long periods of time. This might just be The Kardashian's secret.
Face masks are great too, you can make home made ones out of completely natural ingredients such as honey and oatmeal. The ingredients react with your face and bring out your natural vibrant tones in your skin.
3: Sweat It All Out.
Exercise and it's various benefits. Research shows that it literally makes your body younger by affecting the cells however one of the main cosmetic benefits of exercise is the sweat. Sounds yucky and I'm not a fan of sweat but when you sweat, you are clearing your body of the dirt and grease as it drips from your pores. TMI? maybe but this why people recovering from the flu have clean, clear skin, they’ve spent nights and nights sweating profusely.
If you don’t want to exercise or catch a cold then here's another option, spend twenty minutes a week in a sauna. This is more than enough time to clear out your body leaving you feeling enriched and refreshed. FYI, Steam can even break down the annoying milia that might be around your eyes.
So as you can see, you don’t have to try and hide the worst parts of your looks. Instead, you can accentuate the best parts of you in completely natural ways to add to your confidence on the days you choose not to wear make up which may even reduce your make up wearing days overall!
You guys know I'm here for the make up but I feel it's equally important to be comfortable in your own skin without it, not feeling confident to leave home without it isn't cool and is something that should be tackled ASAP!
